Pet Accommodations, Amenities and Rules

We would like to welcome you and your pet to the Highlander Inn & Conference Center. After a survey from our guests, one of the requests was for us to become “Pet Friendly”. So we listened, put a plan in place, and here we are servicing our guests.

Pet Play Area

We have designated an area for you to bring your pet for exercise. The designated area is located outside of the Coldwell House behind the Gazebo. We do provide gloves, bags and water for your convenience.

For our guests in the Inn, your designated area is located across from the horseshoe drive way. We do provide gloves, bags and water for your convenience.

Pet Amenities

We have provided a water bowl and pet bed in your room. These items are for your pet’s overnight accommodations and they are not to be removed from the assigned room. If you would like to purchase an item, please contact a guest service agent at extension “0”.

If any of these items are removed from the room, there will be a $100.00 fee to replace the items.

Some Pet Rules

• Pets are not permitted in the restaurant or on the veranda for breakfast. Guests may bring their pet to the lobby and have breakfast by the fireplace.
• Pets must always be on a leash or in a cage while they are in any public or common place within the hotel.
• Pet owners must pick up after their pets ($50.00 cleanup fee).
• Canned and dried dog food is available for purchase at the front desk.
• Pet owners are responsible for the repair or replacement of any items that may be damaged by their pets.
• Housekeeping service will be provided only if the pet is removed from the room during the service.
